Food & Beverage Scheduling Supervisor $20.50/HR-$21.50/HR

Job Duties:

· Plan, organize, direct and control the scheduling of Food & Beverage Operations through effective management.

· Effectively communicate and collaborate with department leadership to ensure schedules and certifications meet operational needs.

· Ensure that the operation of the department meets Six Flags high standard of fairness.

· Ensure compliance to all Six Flags policies and DOL state laws as it pertains to scheduling.

· Resolve any conflicts with scheduling including but limited to, day off requests, availability, and schedule switches.

· Demonstrate strong work ethic and commitment to the Six Flags mantra, vision, and goals

· Perform other duties assigned by Full-Time Management.

· Reports to the Food & Beverage Full-Time Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in Food & Beverage preferred
• Experience in scheduling required
• Experience in supervising or leading a team required

· Must be 18 years or older

· Ability to work in an environment as fast-paced as our coasters.

· Complete and maintain Food Handlers Certificate and other required leadership training

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Proficiency in MS applications, above average in MS Excel is strongly preferred

· Excellent problem-solving skills

· Ability to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays with a minimum of 30-35 hours during off-peak season and up to 40 hours during peak/summer season.

· Ability to work independently and with a team

· Must be able to lift, pull, or push a minimum of 40 pounds.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed primarily indoors in an office, and may include working outdoors. Lighting may be natural and artificial. Equipment used includes radios, tablets, cleaning tools. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, working with ovens, grills, and other kitchen equipment. Days and hours will vary and will include weekends, evenings and holidays.
