Summary


The Regional Human Resources Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and HR-related support to the region. This position carries out responsibilities in all HR functional areas with an emphasis on compliance, employee relations, onboarding, and recruitment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive the implementation of HR initiatives that support short and long-term business goals.
  • Create a positive employee experience through leadership and implementation of various programs.
  • Administer day-to-day tasks by providing guidance and direction on HR policies, processes, and programs to all employees within the region.
  • Provide coaching to employees, supervisors and leadership regarding conflict resolution and performance improvement.
  • Conduct employee relations investigations and recommend corrective action with consultation from Corporate HR.
  • Actively source qualified candidates, screens applications, conducts phone interviews, and coordinate on-site interviews.
  • Oversee the Workday new hire onboarding process for the region and ensure compliance with new hire forms.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Coordinate with Corporate on required Affirmative Action Plan implementation and reporting, pursuant to OFCCP requirements.
  • Provide benefit administration support by communicating benefits offered, handling benefit inquiries and escalating issues to Corporate HR.
  • Coordinate FMLA and short-term disability requests and tracking with consultation from Corporate HR.
  • Maintain human resource information system records and compile reports in Workday.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience, Education & Skills


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ten or more years of human resources experience. Construction industry experience is preferred.
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is preferred.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem solving and conflict management abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Workday preferred.


Working Conditions

  • Location - This role will be in the Aurora, Colorado Regional office.
  • Office environment - Extensive sitting at desk and computer; some standing, bending at the waist, stooping and reaching required; ability to lift 5-20 pounds occasionally.

Salary range for the position is $100,000-150,000.
