Maintenance Mechanic

Staffmark is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic for direct hire in Cranston, RI.

Schedule: To be determined

Salary: $62,400 to $72,800 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Support operations by maintaining and troubleshooting various equipment including electrical controls, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, natural gas-fired burners, pumps, plumbing systems, blowers, fans, wet scrubbing equipment, and insulating materials.
• Diagnose and repair issues with fluid transfer pumps.
• Conduct plumbing repairs and basic installations.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery.
• Safely diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems using multimeters, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks.
• Handle general facility repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain clean work areas and adhere to safety procedures.
• Follow instructions and perform job-related duties as assigned.
• Contribute ideas for team growth and improving the work environment.
