About InSight EyeCare
InSight EyeCare was established in 1990 and moved to its current, upgraded location in 2013. The practice is dedicated to serving each patient's unique and individual needs while providing the utmost quality of care with advanced technology to ensure life-long eye health and vision care. The Optometrists take a patient-centric approach to eye care, specializing in comprehensive care, low vision, and medical optometry. The practice comprises two doctors and a well-trained support staff of eight. As the patient schedule is booked several months in advance, the business is looking to add an Optometrist to the team.
InSight EyeCareutilizesstate-of-the-art vision care technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of eye diseases.The practice is well-appointed with automatedophthalmic equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology with Zeiss FORUM image and data systems. Data collection begins with the Marco Epic refraction station and wavefront analysis.Additionally, a Zeiss OCT-A 6000 is available for anterior section imaging, posterior imaging with OCT angiography capability. Retinal photography is obtained with the Zeiss Claris 500 retinal camera and visual field analysis can be performed with Zeiss FDT or our Zeiss Visual Field Analyser 860. Electro-diagnostics are performed with a Diopsis ERG/VEP instrument; Ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) performed with DGH Technologies and slit lamp assessments with Haag Streit Slit Lamps with wheel chair capable refraction and biomicroscopy. Patients enjoya family-friendly experience as they shopthe latest eyewear stylesfrom theoptical dispensary while the Opticians provide personalized support to help patients select the proper frames tailoredto medical needs and fashion preferences.
About the Optometrist Opening
InSight EyeCare is seeking anOptometrist interested in providingthe highest level ofpersonalized care to ensure optimal eye health. You'll perform comprehensive patient care, recommend vision-enhancing solutions, and promote good eye health through patient education. On average, 15 to 22 patients are cared for daily per doctor. The position is full-time, offering 32 to 40 hours weekly. This is a unique opportunity to care for various patients and conditions while working with other experts in a supportive environment.For the right Optometrist, a future partnership opportunity may be available.
The ideal candidatewould be compassionate with patients, interested in continuing education and development of skills and be willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.
Minimum qualifications include:
* License to practice optometry in Michigan
