Manufacturing Engineering Technician

HiFyve has a client near Des Moines, IA that is hiring for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician!

• $58k-$88k+
• Full benefits package
• 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday
• No Degree Required

Responsibilities:

• Manage capital projects for machinery, fixtures, and layouts
• Train personnel on new tools and processes
• Develop training materials as needed
• Improve processes using key metrics
• Implement real-time problem-solving
• Support new product development
• Oversee 5S efforts
• Collaborate with sales and marketing
• Travel up to 25%
• Valid drivers license required
• Regular in-person attendance necessary
• Maintain constant alertness for safety

Experience Needed:

• 5+ years of engineering experience
• High School diploma required
• Skilled in metalwork and manufacturing, with CAM experience
• Proficient in drafting and sheet metal fabrication techniques
• Familiar with Lean manufacturing concepts
• Effective multitasker, thrives under pressure
• Strong communication skills, detail-oriented
• Proactive problem solver
• Self-motivated and collaborative
• Builds relationships across all levels
• Interpersonally adept with mechanical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, some CAD experience
