Job Title: Teacher for Multipurpose Home

Salary: Starting at $42,000+ (based on education and experience)

Through our community-based services across North Carolina, we partner with public agencies and raise private funds to deliver evidence-based programs for children in crisis.

What is a Multipurpose Home? Our multipurpose homes are more than just residential facilities; they are places where youth find hope, healing, and a chance to break free from destructive cycles. For Level II repeat juvenile offenders, residency in our homes has been proven to interrupt criminal behavior. Our staff live and work alongside the youth, implementing a transformative model of care focused on behavior change, skill development, and resilience-building.

What You'll Do: As a Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of up to eight juvenile residents. Working under the guidance of the Residential Program Manager, you will:

• Plan and implement individualized education programs for each resident throughout the year.
• Ensure compliance with North Carolina Department of Non-Public Instruction requirements, including maintaining attendance records and conducting audits.
• Develop tailored curricula aligned with North Carolina standard course of study for each student's grade level.
• Provide a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters growth and academic achievement.

Are You Qualified? To be considered for this impactful role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Valid teaching certification as specified by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction preferred
• At least two (2) years of teaching experience with adolescents or relevant residential experience preferred
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
• Possession of a valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
