Executive Sous Chefs are you ready for the next step?

This is a hands-on working chef opportunity, you will take the lead in implementing new recipes, training, and developing of the culinary team while maintaining food quality standards and cost controls.

A day in the kitchen:

• Partner with the General Manager to execute the culinary program.
• Take ownership of cost controls in the kitchen and work with the management team.
• Ensure product quality standards are being met.
• Keep on top of the current culinary trends and techniques.
• On-going training and development with kitchen staff.
• Oversee the safety and sanitation of the kitchen.
• Engage front-of-house staff in the education of the culinary offerings.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, scheduling, and receiving.

The Must Haves:

• 3 + years of culinary management.
• Pit Boss a plus.
• Proven ability to lead, and mentor a culinary team.
• Strong financial acumen.
• Excellent understanding of restaurant costs and controls
• Professional, humble, and kind personality.
• A clear understanding of the seasons and how it effects business.
• Thinks outside the box.
• Excellent ordering and inventory knowledge.
