The Family Practice w/Obstetrics locum tenens opportunity in Oregon...
-Location: John Day, OR
-Duration: November 2023 - March 2024 (potential for extension)
-Schedule: Flexible based on your availability (option for 1-4 weeks per month, part-time or full-time)
-Shift: 4x10s during the week
-Call: rotating 24-hour c-section
-Patient Volume: Clinic 18-20/day, Deliveries 40-45/annually, (~20% via C-section)
-Scope: FP-OB. Most important need is ability to take C-section call. Secondary need is seeing all ages in clinic (0-99). The hospital OB service delivers babies from 36 weeks to full term. No high-risk deliveries.
-Group: In clinic, provider has dedicated MA. In hospital, CRNA in House Monday-Friday AM, then on call nights and weekends. Primary Care, Women's Health including Gynecology and Obstetrics, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Podiatry, and Urology.
-Hospital: 25 bed non-profit hospital, 3 ICU beds, 2 birthing suites, 2 surgical OR suites. It has a 24 hr ER department and rapid transport including fixed wing, helipad, and ambulance services.
-Requirements: Board certified or board eligible with an Oregon license or willing to apply
