Job Description

We are currently seeking a Quality Manager to join our client, a growing Manufacturing company in Chester, OH, to oversee their quality assurance programs, ensuring that all products meet or exceed set quality standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategies to improve product quality, customer satisfaction, and minimize waste.

Duties:

  • Develop, implement, and manage quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of high-quality products that meet customer and international standards.
  • Lead a team of quality assurance personnel, providing training and support to ensure that products are manufactured with precision and adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct audits, including product, process, and system audits, to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to identify root causes of quality issues and develop corrective action plans to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Analyze quality control data, producing reports that track performance and guide decision-making processes regarding product quality and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of improving product quality and efficiency.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies, including ISO 9001 and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, train, and guide team members towards achieving quality objectives.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to use statistical analysis tools to monitor quality performance and identify trends.
