CDR General Services is looking for a motivated, team player and success driven Welder to join our team in Amite City, LA
Responsibilities:
- Weld metal structures using flux core.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and welding process specifications
- Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal components
- Use various welding techniques, such as Flux Core, MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to join metal parts together
- Perform quality inspections to ensure welds meet specifications and standards
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and welding process specifications

- Use various welding techniques, such as Flux Core, MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to join metal parts together
- Perform quality inspections to ensure welds meet specifications and standards

Requirements:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Flux core welding experience is required
- MIG, TIG, and stick welding is a plus
- Previous experience as a welder or in a similar role
- Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as micrometers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications
- Experience with plasma cutting is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise welds
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials.
