POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides timely, accurate, and friendly customer service. Grows sales through repeat customers, increased sales, and profitability. Makes informed suggestions for food and beverages. Delivers ordered items, maintains dining room cleanliness, and processes payment in a timely manner. Maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet all customers with a friendly smile; provide friendly, efficient, and personal service to each customer
  • Take food and drink orders; understand the food and beverage menu in order to provide the best possible description and execution of menu items to your guests
  • Ensures all hand-crafted beverages are made accurately and consistency.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the coffee preparation process, including specialty drinks
  • Accurately and efficiently enter orders into POS system
  • Clear and reset counters and tables at the conclusion of each guest visit
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.


Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrating a high level of organization, attention-to-detail, and a sense-of-urgency.
  • Displaying a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Must speak, read, and write proficient English.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends. Must be able to work overtime as required.


EDUCATION:

High School diploma, general education degree or international equivalent preferred, but not required.


PHYSICAL ABILITY:

  • Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed
  • Continuous use of hands and arms
  • Continuous bending, reaching, and twisting
  • Maintains strong personal image and uniform standards
