We are currently searching for a talented Structural Engineer in Training (E.I.) to support our Southeast Region in Tampa, Chipley, or Orlando, FL.

The ideal candidate will assist a team of Engineers on a variety of projects such as structural design and engineering studies by performing engineering-related tasks including research, development, design, plans production and delivery on assigned project(s).

What you’ll be doing:


  • Contributes to the preparation or modification of reports, plans, and designs for projects using latest software and 3D Design Techniques
  • Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Participate in the collection and analysis of data and preparation of satisfactory designs
  • Perform design calculations and conduct investigative analyses toward completion of assigned design tasks, and direct preparation of design specifications


What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • Emphasis in structural knowledge
  • 1 – 4 years of structural engineering experience (preferably FDOT)
  • Previous FDOT experience desired but not required
  • EIT (E.I) Certification is required
  • Experience with MicroStation
