Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Install duct, accessories and equipment at the jobsite according to blueprints and specifications.
- Proper and safe use of hand tools and portable power tools.
- May be required to work with Sheet Metal Helpers and Apprentices to provide training, oversight and instruction to ensure teammates are performing tasks safely, per SMACNA and project specifications.
- Must be able to take direction, be accepting to change and strive for continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of four (4) years working in the field and/or sheet metal shop.
- Comprehension of SMACNA standards.
- GED or High School Graduate Preferred.
- Understand how to measure duct for fabrication, make field modifications and install duct by Shop Blueprints.
- Work skillfully with tools, metals and machines.
- Perform a variety of duties which may change often.
- Understand English follow and provide directives to assigned helpers.
- Comply with all B&I safety procedures.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to hear, and speak clearly with professional standard grammar.
Must use hands, fingers, arms and legs fully; kneel, crouch and crawl; climb and balance on ladders and scaffolds; climb stairs, reach overhead, push, pull, lift.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
