Responsibilities
- Documentation review and analysis of P&ID, wiring drawings, network architecture, cause and effects, and control narratives.
- PLC/DCS configuration on various control system platforms under general supervision.
- Configuration of SCADA/HMI graphics on various platforms under general supervision.
- Development of I/O lists, cause and effects, control narratives, and any other documentation required to deliver a complete control system package.
- Hardware and software acceptance testing.
- Control system commissioning including loop checks and shutdown function testing.
- The expectation of prompt and timely responses to customer or company requests via email or alternative communication methods.
- Interact and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other consultants.
- Regular project status updates.
- Travel Expectation: Up to 75%.
Qualifications:
- BS Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Systems) preferred.
- Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal.
- Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems.
- Ability to comprehend instructions and request clarification as necessary.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing.
- Ability to organize and direct a project to completion.
