Telecommunications Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Telecommunications Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving telecommunications networks. This role demands a deep understanding of both hardware and software systems used in telecommunications, as well as the ability to work with various teams to ensure seamless network functionality and user satisfaction. Design and deploy telecommunications networks, including voice and data.
Develop and implement network architectures that support a wide range of telecommunication services. Collaborate with other engineers and teams to integrate new technologies and systems. Perform routine network maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption. Optimize network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting. Update network equipment and software as needed.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

Provide technical support for complex network issues. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
Offer training and technical support to network users.

Project Management:

Lead and manage telecommunication projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for the procurement and installation of new equipment. Document network configurations and changes.

Compliance and Security:

Ensure network compliance with all relevant regulations and security policies.
Implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
Monitor network usage to ensure compliance with security policies.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Telecommunications Engineer or similar role.
Strong understanding of telecommunications systems including VoIP, Ethernet, and fixed wireless technologies. Proficiency with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus.

Salary: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
