Financial Assistance Administrator/Housing Case Manager FT Southeastern VT Community Action (SEVCA), seeks the right candidate to support a critical program to prevent homelessness. Work in Brattleboro & Windham Co. supporting low-income clients to keep their existing housg and, at times, provide support in finding safe & affordable housg. Determine eligibility for Housg Opportunity Progm (HOP) Financial Assistance funds; provide ongoing case mgmt. HOP Financial Asst Administrator will also receive, process, and support applications from community partners in the Bratt. area. Attn to detail in support of grant compliance, data mgmt, and reporting are essential job reqs. HS dipl or GED and exp. in a human svcs-related field. BA or BS in Human Svcs, Social Work or related major preferred, but not reqd. Sensitivity to the challenges faced by, and exp. working w/low-income families & indivs can sub for degree. Reqs some knowledge of community & its resources, and ability to increase / organize that knowledge to better serve clients. Other reqd skills incl. strong communication, exc. interpersonal & organizational skills, database exp. & basic computer skills; ability to travel / work independently and w/a wide range of diverse individuals.
