ROCIMG is looking for an experienced Associate Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team of professionals. The Associate SDR must thrive in an environment where they are multiple simultaneous pursuits for Technology Project/Program Management, Strategic Planning, Cybersecurity, and Management Consulting opportunities. The ideal candidate is expected to exercise sound judgment within broadly defined practices and policies; regularly interact with all levels of management, business partners, staff, and customers; and display a high degree of professionalism and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on pipeline development, fostering relationships, and identifying, researching and analyzing customer needs in target accounts to uncover business challenges
  • Learn the business, the industry, and how to sell, all in an agile environment
  • As an Associate SDR at ROCIMG, you will attend a thorough onboarding program complete with mentorship guidance to learn about ROCIMG's service offerings, our customers, their business challenges, and our sales process
  • Develop robust sales skills along with a variety of techniques and tactics that will help you build direct value for your clients
  • Work in a close-knit team environment to develop and accomplish a lead generation plan that meets or exceeds quota targets
  • Proactively cold-call and email into prospective accounts targeting key personas, exploring a variety of use cases that our solutions can solve
  • Cultivate pipeline by acting on leads and conducting strategic outbound campaigns
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to prioritize efforts, refine selling strategies, share results and plan next steps
  • Participate in sales onboarding, 1:1 training sessions, team meetings, skill building and professional development classes
  • Meet or exceed weekly/monthly goals for meetings, pipeline and activity
  • Work with marketing to build and cultivate prospect relationships by continuously engaging them with personalized communications, such as marketing content and industry thought-leadership material
  • Utilize CRM system to accurately record all activities and communication - prospect, partners, etc. Exceptional CRM hygiene is critical to achieve success in this role
  • Use data in CRM and the available sales technology stack to identify prospects and understand use cases to successfully personalize communications and maximize a successful outreach strategy
  • Coordinate and attend meetings, presentations, and perform follow-up activities to maintain and grow business relationships
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record in outbound campaigns (e.g., cold calling, emails)

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • Knowledge of sales methodology
  • Skilled in the use of MS Office suite - email, Word, PowerPoint etc.
