Occupational Therapist (School Setting)

To qualify for this role, prospective candidates must

• Have their Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Have active licensure in West Virginia
• Have 2+ years of experience (preferred)
• Have experience in pediatrics or schools

In this role, prospective candidates should be able to:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their individual educational plans
• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations for the purpose of determining eligibility for occupational therapy services
• Collaborate with special and regular educators in the development, implementation, and coordination of services
• Complete special education documentation in accordance with Department expectations, as well as state and federal laws and regulations
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
