Join our dynamic team at RD Nutrition Consultants LLC, a leading Dietitian Nutritionist Consulting firm providing expert services to healthcare facilities nationwide. We are currently looking for a passionate Registered Dietitian to be a part of our growing team for a part time position in the area. Enjoy the flexibility of part time hours, with a schedule tailored to meet your needs.
Position Highlights:
- Work Schedule: 24-26 hours per week, Monday-Friday during normal business hours.
- Compensation: $30.00-$36.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Travel Compensation: Paid at your hourly rate for travel time to and from the facility.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience (preferred).
- Proficiency in providing general nutrition interventions.
- Experience with tube feedings.
- Familiarity with electronic charting systems.
- Knowledgeable about state survey process and compliance to nutrition care regulations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Undertake comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients and residents.
- Administer medical nutrition therapy, including for wound healing and weight management.
- Offer nutritional counseling and education to both residents and their families.
- Ensure adherence to DOH/state/federal regulations and company standards.
- Execute tasks independently without the need for routine supervision.
