Cleaning Technician I
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to cleaning of vacant units, offices, and common areas of office buildings
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be a team player and act in a manner that is always in the best interest of G&L Group and Redlee SCS.
Clean offices, rooms, hallways, locker rooms, stairways, windows and common areas on a routine schedule in accordance with the property cleaning checklist
Performs custodial work on commercial facilities and common areas. This includes daily sweeping/vacuum and mopping floors.
Spot cleaning carpeted areas.
Dusting, cleaning, and disinfecting surfaces.
Taking trash out and replacing can liners. Daily accumulated trash to be placed in a trash compactor.
Disinfect restrooms sinks, urinals, toilets, fixtures, partitions, showers, and floors. Replenish dispensers as needed.
Clean glass doors and windows.
Cleans vacant units as needed
Police grounds, stairways, and parking lots and pick up litter as required in these areas.
Assist when others are absent
Requires attendance at safety trainings, and routine skills training
Follows all safety rules and regulations and,
Always performs all work with safety in mind
Must be available to work required schedule and under minimal or non-supervision
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Temporary fill in when necessary in accordance with the scheduling Team Lead.
Notify all concerns to management on specific maintenance concerns, and to provide notification on specific on status of specific maintenance activities.
Communicate verbally or in writing to the appropriate member of management whether through text, phone call, email or any other form of communication not limited thereof in matters regarding liability, risk management, safety concerns as well as suggestions to improve or enhance the quality of life issues provided by the clients.
Maintain the utmost confidentiality of all client and tenant information.
Must treat people with respect and work with integrity and professional ethics, upholding the company’s values in accordance with the Employee Handbook, this specifically includes abiding by all the ethic rules in the employee handbook.
Performs other duties as assigned that may include being transferred to another facility.
Must comply with all provisions of the employee handbook.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must be 18 years or older
Excellent work history.
Team focus approach requires the ability to work with others and take directions.
Detail-oriented
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to understand, remember, and apply written and/or oral instructions.
Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
Reliable transportation
Valid driver license (preferred)
Background check required
PHYSICAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Perform tasks while standing and walking 100% of the time.
Ability to reach, bend, kneel, wipe, push, and pull.
The ability to lift, pull, push, or carry objects up to 25 lbs on a frequent basis.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education - High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
Previous experience is a plus.
This position reports to: Building Team Lead
This is a Full-Time position: M-F 5:30pm to 9:30pm
