PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This position is responsible for supervising, coordinating and conducting operations for the customers and team at an ACI location. This role will be expected to maintain a professional relationship with internal stakeholders, coworkers, site managers and customers. This position is located in Idaho Falls.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform duties and deliver results in new situations while adhering to safety policies without compromising the team's values
• Support the loading and unloading of grain from rail cars and/or trucks
• Support inventory reconciliation
• Manage employee schedules including PTO, to maximize plant efficiency
• Manage and aid site maintenance and reliability tasks
• Manage local team members and support their development and growth
• Ensure product meets all specifications through quality inspection
• Have a passion for production management, a desire to learn new skills and a continuous improvement/process improvement mindset
• Develop relationships with customer counterparts, facilitating quality goals and expectations.
• Other responsibilities as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3-5 years operations experience preferred
• Must have mechanical aptitude for minor repairs to the equipment when necessary
• Strong reading comprehension, writing, and math skills
• Proficient in English both written and verbally
• Ability to run large equipment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player

ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to lift 50 pounds and exert 20 pounds of force
• Able to wear respiratory protection
• Able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time as necessary
• Able to work in hot and cold conditions, both in an office environment and in the grain elevator
• Ascend and descend stairs throughout the facility
• Wear the required Personal Protection Equipment
• Other duties as assigned by role.
