In this role, you will work closely with the Detailing Manager to prepare and manage steel detailing and surveying of shop/fabrication drawings. You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with subcontractors and vendors of other trades, ensuring the smooth progress of assigned projects. To excel in this position, certain skills and tools are essential for success. First and foremost, you must have a deep understanding of the fabricating and erecting process of miscellaneous metals, as well as experience coordinating and supervising subcontracted vendors. Proficiency in reading specifications and blueprints is crucial in order to accurately determine material requirements. In addition to technical knowledge, proficiency in using software and tools is essential for effective project management.
