Production Team Member

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Production Team Member to join our team. As a Production Team Member, you will be responsible for assisting in the production process and ensuring the quality of finished wood veneer products. This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Besse Forest Products Group is a successful forest products company with sawmill and veneer mills in Northern Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production of wood veneer products, including operating machinery, grading veneer, cutting veneer, and applying adhesive.
- Ensure the quality of finished wood veneer products by inspecting for defects, sanding surfaces, and applying finishes.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and overtime, as needed.
