Job Title: Technology Teacher for Grades 4-6

Employment Status: Full-Time, Exempt, Faculty

Position Beginning: August 12, 2024

Reporting To: Upper Elementary Principal

Location: Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy Founders' Campus Upper Elementary School

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Christian believer willing to share and apply their faith at all times
  • Highly dedicated and enthusiastic individual with experience teaching technology to elementary age students
  • Deep familiarity with instructional technology
  • Experience with directing technology integration, approaches in blended instruction, coding, presentations, and video production
  • Responsible for teaching Grades 4-6 Technology & Design Thinking classes, innovating technology/media resources, assisting staff with basic technological needs, implementing hands-on technology lessons using new and relevant resources, partnering with classroom teachers, and other duties as required.
  • The candidate must have experience teaching fundamentals of Microsoft Office Suite, Cloud Computing, LMS content curation, coding, use of additive manufacturing slicers and printers (working with STL and G-code files), knowledge of phases of videography, and a general understanding of introductory level concepts in robotics.
  • Current Ohio Teaching License

A willingness to assist with the CHCA Robotics Program would be an asset for consideration but not a requirement.
