LOCATION: Various SL&C Locations

CLASSIFICATION: Hourly - Entry Level Position

JOB SUMMARY

Primarily responsible for coordinating the timely delivery of concrete from plant locations to job sites according to customer requests and expectations while using the most efficient and cost-effective processes possible.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Below are the primary and essential functions for the role of Service/Logistics Coordinator for SL&C. These are not meant to be comprehensive of all activities required of the employee for this role. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time as this role evolves with or without advanced notice.

• Work closely with the Sales Department to provide a visual and physical presence on job sites to better serve our customers.
• Assist our Quality Control department by providing visual and physical data when needed. (training will be provided)
  Assist with order taking/answering phones as needed.
• Be willing to work nights/weekends as required.
• Ability to properly communicate with customer representatives.
• Ability to represent Sorrento Lumber & Concrete with composure if/when a customer is unhappy with service in anyway.
• Assist dispatch team as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by manager or another member of management.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate ability to handle multiple competing tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret maps and directions.
