Position: MAINTENANCE WORKER
Division: Gary Health Department
Reports To: Program Coordinator Emergency Center
Status: Part-time contract
Salary: $12.00/HR
Brief Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible to perform building upkeep, repairs, and building maintenance. Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, collecting trash, etc. Perform minor repairs. Keep inventory of all needed supplies and order as needed. Maintain, serviced, cleaned, and properly store equipment. Install appliances and equipment. Non-traditional hours
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Two years of janitorial/maintenance experience
Experience with Group Homes/Child care centers
