Meat Processing Fabrication Floor Manager

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Meat Processing Fabrication Floor Manager to join our team and contribute to our success.

Position Summary:
As the Meat Processing Fabrication Floor Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of our meat processing facility. This role requires a strong leader with hands- on experience in meat fabrication, a keen eye for quality control, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.

Responsibilities:
1. Production Management:

- Supervise and lead a team of skilled workers in the meat processing fabrication department.
- Ensure production goals and targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality.

2. Quality Assurance:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the production of safe and superior meat products. - Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold compliance with industry standards and regulations.

3. Safety and Compliance:
- Foster a culture of safety by implementing and enforcing all relevant safety guidelines and regulations.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

4. Process Optimization:
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient production practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.

5. Team Development- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the fabrication team.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a meat processing fabrication role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management position.
- In-depth knowledge of meat procedures, equipment, and industry best practices.

- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements in the food
processing industry.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours as needed.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Meat Science, Food Science, or a related field is preferred.
