As a Park Services Seasonal Supervisor at the Thrill Capital of New England... 

You’ll contribute to our mission by:

  • Responsible for overseeing the overall cleanliness in all areas of the park
  • Providing constant supervision, training, coaching, and motivation of Team Members
  • Overseeing the activities of all Team Members within the Park Services department
  • Following up with crews
  • Creating a positive work environment through motivation and interaction with all Team Members
  • Leading teams responsible for sweeping park streets, walkways, and attraction areas
  • Training of new Team Members in all aspects and positions within the department
  • Identifying Team Members that require additional training and actively dedicating time to develop those individuals
  • Overseeing the general maintenance of all equipment
  • Taking pride in the cleanliness and safety of your assigned Area
  • ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Enforcing all Six Flags New England policies
  • Assisting in other areas of the Rides Department
  • Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

ERRORS/SAFETY

Errors in performance, mismanaged paperwork, or failure to adhere to and enforce Operations policies as stated in any Standard Operating Procedures manual may result in injuries or fatalities to yourself or others.  Errors in chemical handling may cause injury to self and or others.

CONTACT WITH OTHERS

Direct and continuous interaction with Guests, Team Members, Leads, and Department Supervisors throughout the entire park.

CONFIDENTIAL DATA

Access to confidential information such as reports, phone listings, Team Member control cards, etc.  High exposure to confidential data.

MENTAL OR VISUAL DEMAND

Requires normal visual and mental demand.

PHYSICAL DEMAND

  • Requires some lifting, standing, walking, bending, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech
  • Requires frequent kneeling, manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and color definition
  • Requires using telephone, radios, and computer equipment
  • Strong physical mobility--the ability to move easily in different work stations, hand and arm movement and utilizes safe lifting and carrying techniques
  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a times and as many as 14 hours a day
  • Must be able to walk up to 3 miles per day over various surfaces
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently with a maximum of 80 lbs
  • Must be able to lift up to 200 lbs with assistance
  • Must be able to lift and lower up to 40 lbs above shoulder level
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to an 80 lb load over 25 feet
  • Must be able to push/pull 150 lbs over 50 feet over various surfaces
  • Must be able to climb a stepladder up to 6 ft. in height

·         Must be able to climb over a counter up to 30 inches in height and 30 inches wide

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Continuously works outside and closely with others
  • Primarily works alone, is exposed to dust/dirt, water, chemicals, sewage, and bodily fluids that may or may not contain a blood borne pathogen
  • Proper PPE is required while cleaning at all times
