Assistant Mechanic

Diablo Country Club is excited to announce the opening for our full time Assistant Mechanic/Equipment technician position. This position will be responsible for daily maintenance of all the equipment on the golf course at Diablo Country Club. This is a great opportunity to be part of an exceptional team and workplace. General Purpose: Daily maintenance of our equipment for the 18-hole golf course, including but not limited to service, preventative maintenance, fabrication, general repairs, and many other tasks that may arise. Benefits: Medical Insurance, PTO, Uniforms, Meals, Golf Privileges, and 401(K). This position is for a full 40hr work week. Pay $22-27 based on experience. Additional Information: This job will often have workdays beginning at 5:30 AM and ending at 2 PM with possibilities of overtime. Being on time and available is very important. Qualifications: Applicants must bring a great attitude, be reliable and enjoy working in a team oriented environment. Must have availability to work weekdays and weekend mornings Applicants must be comfortable working outdoors in a variety of conditions. Requirements: First and foremost: Attendance, attitude, and ability to learn. Physical Demands: This position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time, lifting, twisting, crouching, and the ability to lift/carry 50+ lbs. safely. All efforts will be made to accommodate limitations. Certificates/Licenses: Valid Driver’s License is necessary for this position. Any certifications will be considered Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences: Working knowledge of two and four cycle engines, diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical systems Preferred to have welding capabilities. Maintaining a preventative maintenance program for all equipment and scheduling and prioritizingappropriately. Keeping accurate records of equipment maintenance procedures performed. Helping supervise and train crew members in the proper and safe operation of all equipment.
