Distribution Supervisor - 2nd Shift

K&N has an immediate need for a Distribution Supervisor – 2nd Shift to join our team in Grand Prairie, TX Qualifications Experience, Skills & Education: Leadership and supervisory experience and understanding of management principles. Understanding of order picking, packing and shipping processes and procedures. Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution. Understanding of basic efficiency measures, with experience in shipping and traffic coordinating. Ability to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of coaching and counseling of staff. Knowledge of K&N Business Management System (BMS). Additional Qualities Necessary: Must be well organized with the ability to simultaneously handle multiple duties, prioritize, follow through on all tasks and projects and meet pre-determined deadlines. Must be able to adjust schedule and hours as needed to manage department. Consistently portray a positive and professional image and set a positive tone with employees, customers and suppliers. Ability to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers and in 1-on-1 or team situations. Must be willing to seek ongoing training and improvement and support same by staff. Must possess a strong attendance record.
