Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
Special education teacher needed - Saegertown, PA
Sunbelt iscurrently seeking passionate and dedicated special education teachers for the 2023/2024 school year to join our team in the Saegertown, PAarea. The ideal candidates will have experience working with diverse learners and will possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers and other support staff to ensure students' needs are met
- Use evidence-based practices to facilitate academic, social, and emotional growth for students with disabilities
- Provide direct instruction and support in small group and individual settings
- Monitor and track student progress to ensure effective interventions
Requirements:
- REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in special education or related field
- REQUIRED: PAState Special Education certification k-12
- At least 2 years of experience working with students with disabilities
- Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
- Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be a U.S Citizen
Details:
