Location:Near Blunt, South Dakota

Position Type: Full-Time, Monday-Thursday (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM)

Student Enrollment: 9-18 students

Grade Levels: K-12

We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our team near Blunt, South Dakota. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored education and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and social growth.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles and abilities within the K-12 grade range.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a collaborative approach to student success.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
• South Dakotacertification for Special Education.
• Experience working with students with a range of disabilities and grade levels.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Onsite only

Compensation:
