Commercial Cabinet Maker

JOB DESCRIPTION: Main job duties will be building cabinet drawers and attaching the hardware. Must have experience hanging door fronts and drawers, working with European style cabinets, bloom hinges, reading tape measurements, using saws, drills, and other woodworking tools.

Would like at least 2 years' experience in the cabinet industry, or come from kitchen cabinet side, building modular cabinets, but will need to understand this will be industrial cabinets that will be in schools, banks, and hospitals. 

Must be capable to run the industrial saws, and dills and be able to lift 75 lbs. Could be helping with the delivery of cabinets and load and unload cabinets.

Shift: 6:30am-4pm Mon-Thurs, 6:30am-10:30am Fridays.

Responsibilities: 

• Operation of woodworking machines and use of hand tools to cut, shape and form wood.
• Knowledge of building materials
• Prepare and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Proper measuring of the interior space is imperative.
• Able to custom build pieces in an efficient manner 
• Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines.
• Practice good housekeeping at all times to ensure a safe and non-cluttered worksite.
• Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices; follows all safety policies and procedures to support.

Qualifications: 

• Cabinet / Construction / Restoration / experience preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
• Ability to problem-solve to achieve design intent.
• Ability to work within a team or independently as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
