We are currently seeking a skilled and qualified Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year. Thisposition offers a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students.

Job Description:

As a COTA in our district, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation of occupational therapy services. Your responsibilities will include working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, conducting therapy sessions, and collaborating with educators and parents to create a supportive learning environment. The successful candidate will have a passion for pediatric occupational therapy and a mitment to promoting students' overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers to integrate occupational therapy goals into the classroom environment.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Support in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • municate effectively with parents and the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Pennsylvania state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a COTA.
  • Experience working with students in an educational setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
