Our client is hiring a Field Coordinator in Rosedale, MS. As a Field Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Erector in construction activities by ensuring seamless coordination of resources and effective communication between the jobsite and the office. This is a 1st shift, direct-hire opportunity.

Required Education and Experience

• Proven experience in construction coordination, or related field

Essential Functions

• Coordinate and schedule timely deliveries of materials required for construction
• Ensure that the Erector has all necessary resources for uninterrupted progress
• Account for bolts and embeds delivered, keeping meticulous records
• Assist in locating missing inventory and addressing discrepancies promptly
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues where two construction pieces do not fit together
• Collaborate with the Erector to find effective solutions to construction challenges
• Maintain daily notes on jobsite progress, highlighting achievements and setbacks
• Document difficulties encountered, especially those caused by interactions with other trades
• Obtain copies of necessary paperwork related to construction activities
• Ensure that all relevant documents are organized and readily accessible
• Communicate regularly with the Project Manager, providing updates on jobsite activities and challenges
• Attend jobsite meetings where plans for the week’s work are discussed and finalized
• Check and verify construction pieces when they are delivered to the jobsite, ensuring compliance with specifications
• Perform other tasks as required
