Auto Body Repair Install Technician

Our client, on Blount Island in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an auto repair and install technician to join their team. As an auto repair and installation technician, you will be part of the body shop team supporting the port. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of auto technician repair and install experience, experience using tools and have performed body damage repairs which will align successfully in the organization.

 Job Title: Auto Repair and Installation Technician

Location: Blount Island, Jacksonville, FL

Pay Range: $19-$22/hr
 

What’s the Job?

• Repairing automotive body parts, panels, bumpers, interiors, exteriors, mirrors, emblems, taillights, etc.
• Perform initial removal and reinstall of assigned parts from vehicles.
• Review and understand work orders.
• Communicate any equipment problems or failures to the appropriate people.
• Ability to stand, kneel, walk, and stoop frequently

What’s Needed?

• 2-3 years of auto  repair and install experience in a body shop
• Must have or be willing to obtain a TWIC badge
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
