PURPOSE
The purpose of the position of Inventory Clerk is to identify and maintain Finished goods inventory in order to efficiently prepare product for shipments and to play a crucial role in warehouse operations, focusing on receiving, stocking, order picking, material movement and shipping.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a warehouse environment and contribute to the smooth flow of inventory and order fulfillment.
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for keeping inventory records, conducting physical counts of inventory and updating inventory records.
The ultimate goal of this position, in conjunction with the Finishing Supervisor, is to provide good, quality packaged rolls, with appropriate and accurate identification to each Customer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Identify, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures for finished goods.
- Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions.
- Proactively identify, track and report inventory issues.
- Utilizes FIFO procedures for Finish Goods in order maintain proper shelf-life of product.
- Maintains accurate inventory records, including item inventory, locations, quantity at each level.
- Conducts regular spot-checks of inventory levels of common items and reports findings to the Plant Manager/Customer Service.
- Identify and coordinates replenishment of necessary materials and supplies.
- Safely operate material handling equipment as necessary to support movement of material.
- Perform accurate and timely data entry within the inventory management system regarding material movements
- Preparing and maintaining appropriate inventory identification tags
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all work
