Job Overview
The Warehouse Coordinator will assist in monitoring and controlling warehouse inventory by overseeing, directing, and coordinating the movement of supplies, products, and merchandise into and out of the warehouse. This position will also assist with regular Material Handler functions including staging product, loading and unloading trailers, and keeping the facility clean and organized.
General Responsibilities

  • Perform daily duties pertaining to Lift Truck Safety Check Lists.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing inventory deliveries.
  • Assign delivery/pickup locations.
  • Oversee and assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries, ensuring quality of material.
  • Mark inventory with identifying information.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining storage database.
  • Identify potential inventory shortages and communicate with relevant department.
  • Process returns.
  • Supply converting machines with necessary raw and packaging materials, while taking away finished product and inventorying of finished production.
  • Monitor the warehouse equipment and report maintenance problems to the Logistics & Warehouse Manager and Maintenance Personnel.
  • Re-slot and consolidate warehouse inventory as needed while maintaining inventory integrity and accuracy.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse.
  • Communicate any unsafe, improperly maintained, or nonconforming issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist with cycle counts/recounts.
  • From time to time, may be required to stay beyond their shift to resolve process issues.
  • Flexibility for nonstandard work hours – flexible with own shifts and work hours.
  • Ability to multi-task and interact with internal and external customers.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy throughout assigned task(s).
  • Responsible for all other tasks as assigned

Required Experience
  • High school diploma - preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of Logistics/Operations experience preferred
  • Computer skills to include basic skills with the ability to learn reporting within the NPS systems, including WMS
