MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Who we are looking for:

Medical Assistants who have a passion for making a difference in skin and wound care and are willing to travel in-person to patients homes and work with our providers virtually.

Main Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to):

  • Collaborate with our Skin and Wound Care Specialists in Private Homes, Adult Family Homes, and Independent Living Facilities
  • Provide organization and support, and assist in skin and wound care rounds
  • Assist with wound care procedures
  • Attend regularly scheduled team meetings for continued training, team building, and leadership development
  • Accomplish other tasks as assigned

Skills required to succeed:

  • 1+ years experience as an MA; licensed in Washington State
  • Ability to travel to multiple locations each day
  • Ability to multitask while providing compassionate patient care
  • Telehealth experience –preferred
  • This fast-paced position requires standing for extended amounts of time
  • Driving! Must have reliable transportation; valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
  • Computer savvy; Intermediate proficiency using MS Suite: Word, Teams, Outlook, and Excel
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to work well within a team of healthcare providers and partner facilities
  • Must be self-motivated, punctual, dependable, and able to work/schedule appointments independently
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively
  • Ability to respond appropriately to constant change in priorities and services
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people through both verbal and written communication lines
  • Must be trustworthy, honest, and have a positive and professional attitude

Compensation: $22.00 - $28.00 hourly – DOE

Anticipated Territory: Greater Spokane

This position is classified as: Hourly, Non-Exempt; Full-Time employment

Hours: Typical hours are Monday through Friday; daytime hours, no nights or weekends
