Racine Country Club is seeking a Bartender to join our professional hospitality team. Qualified individuals will be friendly, responsible, motivated, and enthusiastic about providing an exceptional experience for club members.

Responsibilities

• Greet each member personally with warm welcome
• Work as a team with all staff in order to maintain a positive atmosphere and exceptional food and beverage service
• Keep bar area clean and stocked with bottles and glasses arranged to maintain an attractive display.
• Maintain clean glassware.
• Possess full knowledge of the full menu of beverage offerings; take and deliver food orders at table in a timely manner
• Anticipate member needs and offer your assistance proactively
• Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for members in bar and dining room following standard recipes in a timely fashion. This includes liquor control and accurate pouring of products.
• Manage count of drinks that guests are served and provide current bar tabs to guests
• Effectively use POS system to process orders, prepare checks and accept payments
• Adhere to the RCC policy regarding guest alcohol service guidelines
• Other duties as needed (we value teamwork)

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a hospitality or food service environment is preferred
• Must possess a bartender’s license and be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the dining area
• Understands and can communicate with staff, members, and guest in a professional & warm manner.
• Have an ambition to learn, a sense of urgency, and an emphasis on providing exceptional customer service. Seeking candidates that have a true passion for serving customers and exceeding their expectations.
• Ability to take detailed orders & input/operate point of sale system accurately.
• Ability to prioritize duties and be proficient in accomplishing multiple tasks simultaneously with a good sense of timing.
• Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to walk and stand during entire shift
• Ability to reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe
• Ability to remain stationary for long periods of time

Salary and Benefits

• $12.00 - $15.00 per hour + gratuities
