Summary: Drives and operates Vacuum Truck picking up, hauling and unloading various oil field related fluids including fresh water, brine (salt) water, treated water, frac fluids, drilling mud and other well servicing, drilling and production fluids, from and to various sites and sources. All duties are to be performed consistent with Company operating procedures, the Customer’s Master Service Agreement and Safety Procedures and all OSHA safety procedures and regulations to maximize the safety of all personnel at the work site and to efficiently perform the task.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of Management).

• Drives truck to customer's premises to pick up fluids used in well servicing operations. It is important to understand completely that the Driver will be required to enter and exit the truck no less than eighty (80) times in a typical work day. This will require the Driver to step carefully from the driver’s seat of the truck down the trucks steps and onto what is usually an uneven artificial (gravel) surface. This process will be repeated when re-entering the truck, only in reverse. That process requires significant stamina, strength , coordination, steadiness and agility, especially when it is performed all day at least eighty (80) times a day.

• Pulls hose(s) from the hose tray and connects one end to the truck and puts the other end into the pit or connects to a tank to extract fluid. This tasks requires that the Driver have the ability to handle a hose that will create approximately 50 pounds of weight from a dead lift position. The driver will however be required to perform more than a dead lift. The driver will be required to lift, handle, bend over with the hose in his or her hands and attached to a recipient hose fitting, nipple or flange. This task will also require that the Driver use one hand to hold the heavy hose while using the other hand to thread and spindle the hose onto the hose fitting, nipple or flange. This task will be required repeatedly during the day and regardless of terrain, weather or atmospheric temperature.

• Monitors the amount of fluid extracted and the amount of fluid the vacuum truck is lawfully allowed to haul, and other situations presented by the site or the customer. This will require a total attention to surroundings and details.

• Drives the truck to and from the loading site or customers’ locations, disposal site(s) or back to the area location.

• Requires knowledge of all applicable DOT rules and regulations; and all job related Company, Local, State and Federal requirements, to include OSHA safety rules and regulations.

• Maintains accurate work tickets based on the Company’s requirements and the work performed for the customer(s.)

• Maintains accurate driving log books, pre-trip / post-trip inspections and maintenance files on the vehicle.

• Alerts appropriate management team member when mechanical defects are noted on the truck.
