*** $500 SIGNING BONUS ***

OUR PAY and BENEFITS:

  • $17.05 - 20.89 per hour
  • 2nd shift: 2:15pm – 10:45pm

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience: minimum of 6 months related manufacturing experience
  • Digital literacy:
    1. Word: Beginner
    2. Outlook: Beginner
    3. Web browser: Beginner
  • Must be able to read blueprints
  • Willing and able to work overtime as necessary to meet deadlines and complete special projects
  • Requires protective safety apparel when on the manufacturing floor and sufficient proficiency in English to be able to read, write and understand English in order to comprehend instructions, safety rules, and production materials
  • Must be able to physically work in a variety of positions i.e. standing, sitting, bending, and moving between workstations as well as to stand for extended periods of time

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs cleaning and maintenance on tooling and air grinders as needed
  • Cleans boats and visually inspect for any imperfections such as pores, pits, and green spots, on all machined surfaces
  • Reviews and understands drawings for customer requirements
  • Requires ability to read blueprints, understand some GD&T
  • Plasters boats; removes boats from fixturing and cleaning
  • Assists machine operators with machine maintenance and cleaning
  • Adheres to functional procedures in a consistent manner
  • Identifies improvements to the procedures
  • Initiates the revision process when changes need to be made
  • Always wears gloves when handling products
  • Always wears safety glasses while hand filing or grinding boat-teeth
  • Polishes, chamfers, and deburring parts
