Position:  Entry Level Eyecare Assistant

• Location:  Grassland Community, Franklin, TN
• Role Overview:
  • Assist patients with check-in and pretesting before doctor visits.
  • Assist staff with writing information into files, manually and on the computer.
  • Build lasting relationships with staff and customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and positive, cooperative office culture.
  • Train to work with EHR, patient communication software, and vision plan claims.
  • General clerical office work, including answering telephones, check in and checkout of patients at the front desk.
  • Ordering contact lenses, check in products, and contact patients.
  • Cross train to assist in other office areas as needed.
  • All work onsite in a medical office.

Qualifications:

• Eyecare or Medical Office Experience:  Preferred but not required. Valuable paid training on-the-job.
• Personal Skills:  Friendly, confident, reliable, teachable, empathetic, team-player.
• Business Skills:  Keyboarding, time management, driven to succeed, grow, and achieve both personal and company goals.  
• Customer-Centric: Passionate about helping people, easily connect with others, and a good listener.
