Job Description
The Chef de Partie position in the James Beard nominated kitchen at Easy Bistro & Bar is an entry level salaried management position that is responsible for station managerial functions, prep and line work. Chef de Partie's (CDP's) manage individual areas of the kitchen (ie. hot line, garde manger, raw bar) and have specific responsibilities for prep and service (ie. fresh pasta production, stocks, sauces, butchery & raw bar product).
CDP's report directly to the sous chef's and chef de cuisine, and play an integral role in the operation of the kitchen on a daily basis.
We are seeking candidates who exhibit culinary talent and have good communication and organizational skills. CDP's can complete individual tasks while assisting in leading the staff and managing all food related production. The CDP also assists in supervising all kitchen areas to ensure a consistent, high quality product is produced.
