Collaborate with warehouse, donations/distress sale department in detailed daily/weekly management to ensure target customer service levels are met with lowest damage/scrap/OOG cost. Work with corporate supply planning and deployment team to ensure that weekly scheduling follows the master schedule in SAP to ensure balanced inventory levels. Prepare and publish weekly & monthly reports which track the status of departmental key performance indicators such as inventory discrepancy by SKU, quality release timing, quality release accuracy, inbound and outbound transaction accuracy, block stock and out of guaranteed product. Troubleshoot and resolve all transactions done incorrectly including mislabelled pallets and incorrect product shipped or received. As needed, perform root cause analysis of obsolescence and implementation of corrective/preventative action. Monitor “aged” inventories - ensure disposal of expired and blocked inventory within guidelines by coordinating between Veolia and warehouse to get the correct product and quantity disposed. Responsible for scheduling all plant disposals and recycling including cardboard, plastic and raw milk. Perform other inventory management transactions as needed (e.g., reversing and deleting pallets, blocking, and batch reclasses) Responsible to ensure adequate materials are on site to support production schedules. Assist in maintaining MRP system. Conduct regular reviews in conjunction with material planner in corporate and update based on new criteria. Participate in material planning meetings with suppliers. Execute packaging run out plans to support material planners with focus on minimizing obsolescence with zero impact to production schedules. Responsible for the quality supplier program for the Salt Lake City plant along with the plant planner, reporting to the vendor through the standardized process of product standards not met and requesting a corrective/preventive action. Responsible to coordinate milk/yogurt giveaways each month during townhalls and other plant events. Key user for Endeavour testing/launch of new WMS system and changes to SAP Manage and prioritize multiple tasks to ensure timely completion in a fluid environment. Improving and maintaining communicated performance standards for department; managing with the flexibility to react as needed when breakdowns arise. Key supply chain team member to perform duties on call for visual production schedule, release production orders, create production orders, troubleshoot stock transfer issue and order raw and pack ingredients on site. Aids in ensuring successful plant production execution through effective planning and collaboration between corporate, production associates, vendors and Take a lead role in all reporting functionality and improvements: report creation, built-in reporting functionality, automating monthly/weekly reporting. Perform reconciliations of Raw and Pack inventory with ours. Master all appropriate SAP applications and reporting software to refine supply models and work process flows. Own executing SAP transactions within responsibility area. Maintain advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and/or TEKDAN and SAP knowledge. Key Responsibilities: 4-year degree from college or technical school or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization at all levels, including janitorial, management, and executives. Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Strong computer skills needed including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and multiple scheduling software programs (i.e. WMS and SAP) along with the ability to complete computer-based safety training. Flexibility with schedule and ability to assist in various projects. Excellent time management and prioritization skills with a proven ability to handle multiple projects with conflicting deadlines. Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities. Follow direction and work independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong math, computer and logic skills.
