Sr. Creative Specialist - Berrien Springs (Full-Time)

This is a Hybrid Work Eligible position. You will be required to come into the Operations Center in Berrien Springs, MI as needed to ensure business needs are met.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Responsible for creating engaging digital and print content for various communication channels.
Designs graphic, photo, and video content for the website, signage, print, email, social media, and internal communication deliverables.
Leads creative work for major external marketing campaigns under the direction of the Marketing Manager.
Helps coordinate activities with Honor departments and outside printers, advertisers, and/or vendors to complete projects within scheduled deadlines and ensure developed outputs are of the highest quality.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field; or an equivalent combination training and work experience.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Five to eight years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
Required experience in graphic design, photography, multimedia production, or related area.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Must have a demonstrated ability to keep finances in order.
Proven skills in graphic design, journalism, copywriting, and editing/proofing.
Photography and video experience beneficial.
Must be proficient in design software from the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
Must have traditional print and digital media experience, as well as print knowledge.
Thorough understanding of color theory, typography, layout, branding, and iconography.
Familiarity with cross platform (PC, Mac, and NTSC) color palette issues.
Familiarity with internet, web design, output technology, printing press operations, scanning, digital processing.
Knowledge of Adobe photo and video software beneficial (Lightroom, Premiere, After Effects, Audition).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
Be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
Strong project management skills, well-organized and have an excellent eye for detail.
Handle issues with tact, diplomacy, and an appropriate sense of urgency.
Understands and complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
Must be highly detailed.
Exceptional problem-solving skills.
