Summary:
Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team in the industrial manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the industrial landscape, a proven track record in developing and executing successful product marketing strategies, and the ability to drive product growth in a competitive market.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overall product strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze market data to identify opportunities for product differentiation and growth.
- Develop and refine product positioning and messaging that resonates with target customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between product features and customer needs.
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches and updates.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure effective product positioning and sales enablement.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers to gather insights and feedback.
- Monitor and analyze product performance against financial targets.
- Develop and implement customer engagement programs to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction.
- Identify growth opportunities and develop and execute the business plans necessary to prioritize and seize the opportunities
- Lead and execute a value based price strategy across distribution and ecommerce channels
- Effectively communicate product strategies, updates, and performance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze competitor activities and market trends.
- Provide insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with sales, and other cross-functional teams to drive successful product launches and campaigns.
- Regularly assess and report on the performance of marketing programs, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or a related field OR 10+ Years in Marketing Manager or Product Manager role.
- 10+ years within the manufacturing industry, preferably within industrial manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of products, market dynamics and customer behavior.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams and collaborate effectively.
- Ability to make strategic decisions based on market data and customer insights.
- Analytical mindset with strong experience in using date to drive decision making.
- Experience with automation tools and CRM systems.
Desired Experience:
MBA is a plus.
