This modern hospital in the Bay Area is looking for an Assistant Director Emergency Department. This role will be a great opportunity to delve into an extraordinary hospital network while running an award winning department. 

At this 150 bed nonprofit hospital there is an array of exceptional inpatient and outpatient services, including the multi-million dollar Cardiovascular Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Lab. The Assistant Director Emergency Department will see the quality of this facility.

Reporting to the Emergency Department Director, the Assistant Director Emergency Department will lead the administrative and clinical responsibilities for the unit. This leader will be aided by Supervisors and CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) Charge Nurses. This Assistant Director will work closely with the Emergency Department Medical Providers to ensure efficient and effective care. 

The Emergency Department has multiple care areas, including critical care, triaging, and routine rooms. The  Assistant Director Emergency Department will oversee a busy unit that has roughly 12,000 visits annually, with the nursing staff being certified in advanced adult and pediatric life support. The Medical Staff is exceptional, and the whole team in the Emergency Department is a family.
