Job Summary
- The Occupational Therapist is responsible for helping people of all ages participate in the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities.
- Services may include comprehensive evaluations of the client’s home and other environments, recommendations for adaptive equipment and training in its use, training in how to modify a task or activity to facilitate participation, and guidance and education for family members and caregivers.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s or Doctorate degree preferred
Certification, Licensure, Registration
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of South Dakota.
- Current certification of National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, Weekend in rotation as available; 80hrs/2wks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
