Overview:

Due to growth, Mountaineer Physical Therapy Sports Medicine is now hiring a full-time or part-time Physical Therapist for an Outpatient Orthopedics position in Summersville, WV. Full-time availability is preferred. 40 hours per week are available. Part-time candidates with a minimum of 16 hours and 2 full weekdays of availability will also be considered.

Caseload / Patient Population:

The Physical Therapist hired will work with a variety of orthopedic diagnoses. The clinic primarily focuses on general orthopedics.

The patient population is all ages. Patient care is 1:1, providing direct patient care with 1-hour evaluations and 1-hour follow-ups.

Our ideal candidate is passionate, empathic, and talented, a team player with an interest in manual therapy. We are seeking a candidate that strives to make a difference in their patients lives. New grads are welcome, and mentorship is available. If hired for this role, the team will ensure that you are fully comfortable.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time or part-time position. The clinic is open Monday to Friday. No weekends or holidays!

Most PTs on staff work Monday-Friday, 8 am - 6 pm, with an hour lunch break. The schedule can be flexible based on the needs of the candidate hired.

Compensation and Benefits:

Physical Therapists are paid a competitive salary based on experience. A brand-new grad can expect to receive a yearly salary in the ballpark of $75,000. The compensation package will increase based on the experience of the candidate hired.

Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, retirement plan, and student loan repayment. Professional development is encouraged and includes reimbursement for CEUs.

Job Requirements:

• Graduation as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (or equivalent standing).

• Eligible for Physical Therapist License in West Virginia

• Open to all experience levels, including new grad PTs and seasoned physical therapists

• Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Full-time is preferred. Part-time candidates with a minimum of 16 hours and 2 full weekdays of availability will also be considered
